Well satisfied with this TV. We've had it several months now and it's working just fine.
It is a Christmas gift for my grandaughter. I purchased this Haier 13" TV in October. After Christmas I will be able to review this item, since it is still in the box waiting for Christmas eve to arrive.I did base my purchase on reviews posted by others that have this Haier TV.
If I punch in the station number on the remote in a second or two it appears. It arrived in less than a week and works great. The only other 13" for sale on line was $20.00 more. You won't be disappointed.Channel Changing Problem.I don't have any problem with changing channels. I wanted a TV for my Kitchen-In the stores all I saw were 15" or larger or on the small end 7" that have terrible sound quality. This fits the bill. Definetly worth it.
After I called to ask for help, a Haier technical rep told me that the neither of the 2 audio input paired (left/right channel) jacks work unless a video input is also connected. Now we have to buy a separate set of speakers for the radio. The only unexpected problem was that it won't take output from my mother's radio receiver, as the old Zenith TV would. Changing channels was slower than we experience with our own larger screen TV, but other product reviews prepared me for that. My mother needed it to replace an old, comparable Zenith TV that bit the dust. I bought this TV via Amazon.com because no local retailer in our city stocks 13-inch TVs. The set-up of the new TV in her apartment went quickly and the picture & stereo sound were excellent. This was unexpected because the product specs for Input/Output list 2 Analog Audio Inputs, plus 2 Composite Video Inputs.
I agree that the channels are a little slow in changing and the volume control, particularly for enhancing the volume, is not great for someone a little hard of hearing, but for my own situation this is not a problem. This is an excellent TV and fully met my expectations for picture, color quality, and elegence of design. I recommend this product enthusiasticly.
